The fountains in Chisinau will be turned on this week, mayor Ion Ceban announced in connection with the preparations for Easter, IPN reports.

Each district head’s office and the educational institutions stage events together with the Culture Division. Among these are fairs, exhibitions, competitions, festival and concerts.

On Thursday, April 21, the Easter lights and decorations will be switched on all over the city. A concert will be given in the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral.

In the same square, there will be inaugurated a children’s creation workshop titled “The Rabbit’s House”.
