Socialists protest in front of Parliament Building

Members and sympathizers of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) mounted a new protest in front of the Parliament Building. They accuse the government of incompetence, social inequity and of pursuing anti-popular and irresponsible policies, IPN reports.

The protest was held while Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița was asking Parliament to extend the state of emergency for another 45 days. According to the Socialists, the extension is not justified. They consider the state of emergency enables the government to manage the public funds, which are the people’s public money, outside any control.

The protesters chanted “Shame!”, “Government should leave!”, “PAS is equal to poverty!”, “Down with the government of state of emergency!” etc.
