The Leanca Government will be a sacrifice one if it is invested because two persons - Vlad Filat and Vlad Plahotniuc – can form part of the same administration only for a short period of time, considers political commentator Alexandru Cauia. He has told IPN that within the short period of one year and a half that remained until the end of the mandate, Filat and Plahotniuc will regroup the forces so as to remain in power and identify financial flows that will enable them to return to government.
“The democratic or pro-European coalition will not be able to reconcile the eternal rivals – the PDM and PLDM. If the Government is voted in, it will work for a very short period of time and during this period the two will again attack each other. The Leanca Government will be a sacrifice one that will manage for not more than one year and a half and I don’t think that it will be the happiest executive,” said the political commentator.
Alexandru Cauia also said that Vlad Filat and Vlad Plahotniuc want to rule by themselves and with no one keeping them under control. During the mandate of the Leanca Government, there will be again common votes between the PLDM and PCRM and between the PDM and PCRM. “As regards the government program, nothing will change except for formulations. The objectives will be formulated with the same cosmopolite attitude,” he stated.
According to him, the new program must lay emphasis on the solving of problems that affect first of all the people, like the challenges witnessed in the eastern districts. There should be a clear attitude to the agricultural sector and definite mechanisms for hindering the raider attacks. “The program will be presented, but we will see if it is supported. If the PLDM and PDM do not come to terms on sensitive issues, there will be another month of negotiations,” added the commentator.
On May 30, Prime Minister designate Iurie Leanca will present his team and the government program in Parliament. To be invested, the Government must gain the support of at least 51 MPs of the 101.
