Maib continues the announced path of agile transformation. The 4 orchestras launched in editions I and II will be joined in a few weeks by three new orchestras:
- - Retail Payments Orchestra, orchestra leader Alexei Panin
- - Retail Segment Orchestra, orchestra leader Anna Russu
- - Business Banking Daily Banking Orchestra, orchestra leader Corina Ciurea-Samanati
Until the official launch, the members of the newly formed orchestras will be trained by local and international experts, who will familiarize maib employees with the new way of working, with the tools and apps that will be used, with the formalities specific to the adopted agile working framework of the bank, as well as the new terminology.
The approximately 120 employees in the newly formed orchestras are representatives from various subdivisions (IT specialists, digital, sales managers, risk managers, product managers, analysts, brand managers), who will apply the new work methods for more speed, flexibility, development innovative capabilities and creating next-level products, services and experiences.

For the Transformation Team, this edition is quite challenging for several reasons: the number of colleagues who will enter these 3 new orchestras is double compared to the two previous releases; it is the first edition when we were able to bring the international trainers to Chisinau, so most of the training will be offline and that, for sure, will bring much more positive impact. At the same time, it is the first edition when the Agile Coach maib team will deliver part of the training, but for this a special preparation was needed”
