Minister of Interior: Security picture is normal

According to her, no unusual incidents have been reported today. However, destabilization attempts were made by particular political forces on the road to Bulboaca. These were counteracted, IPN reports.

“At this hour, the security picture is normal. We didn’t witness any unordinary accidents or incidents.  Absolutely all the security and defense agencies work in a coordinated and synchronized way. We monitor the situation continuously. We act in an anticipated way and will go on like this during the next hours and days. Everyone lends a hand to ensure the summit is held in conditions of maximum security and safety. We equally make effort to ensure peace in communities and on the border,” the minister told the press.

Ana Revenco noted that destabilization attempts were seen. “Including attempts to show what is happening in the Republic of Moldova through another angle. All these attempts were counteracted in a synchronized way,” stated the minister. According to her, if violations of the legislation are identified, those to blame will be penalized.

Between midnight (local time) on June 1 and 7am on June 12, only fights that transport official delegations to and from the EPC summit will be permitted. All the land border crossing points work as usual. The ambulances and firefighting vehicles work according to a special program.
