The General Social Assistance and Health Division of the Chisinau City Hall and also the primary medical assistance institutions, local medical associations, family doctor’s centers, private primary medical assistance centers and suburban health centers will ensure full and immediately mobilization for immunization against COVID-19 in the municipality of Chisinau.
“This is very important. At the current stage, we have enough vaccine doses and invite everyone to vaccination. Moreover, there are several types of vaccines for the citizens to choose the preferred one,” IPN quoted mayor general Ion Ceban as saying after the meeting of the municipal Extraordinary Public Health Commission.
The local medical associations, with the support of the district head’s offices, will set up local vaccination centers. Professional groups organized according to preliminary appointments will be immunized at the Municipal Vaccination Center.
In another development, Ion Ceban said the education process on May 11 is resumed with the physical presence of first-twelfth graders, including at after-school centers, sports schools and extracurricular activities. Sports competitions will be held in the open air without spectators. The youth centers will be able to work with the physical presence of at most 20 persons. The continuous training programs, including for the unemployed, will be organized with physical presence depending on the size of rooms, by obeying the public health norms.
The public eating places will be open until 11pm and will use primarily the summer terraces set up according to the old rules.
The shopping centers and grocery stores in the municipality of Chisinau will work by 10pm, not by 6pm as until now.
