Family of 21 receives aid from Cahul Industrial-Pedagogical College students
Students of the Cahul-based Industrial-Pedagogical Institute offered aid to a big family from Capriana village in Calarasi district.
According to the radio station “Univers FM” in Cahul, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the family is composed of 19 children, 12 of which are of school age. Currently, none of them goes to school because the family lives on a very low income, of 1,500 lei a month.
The second-year students from the Social Assistance Department found out about the situation of the family from a periodical and made an appeal to all the students and teachers of the College. They collected clothes, school supplies and toys and donated them to the family.
The students made the charity act with the help of the College’s deputy director for organisational matters Alexandra Piscunov.
