Corridors designed to prevent traffic jams started to be planned in the capital city. These will ensure connection between Calea Ieșilor St and Dacia Blvd, Alba Iulia St and Dacia Blvd, Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd and Telecentru quarter. The announcement was made by mayor Ion Ceban after a meeting with Minister of Home Affairs Ana Revenco, IPN reports.
The mayor said the municipality is also considering the possibility of creating corridors on A. Mateevici St in Chisinau.
According to Ion Ceban, there are about 230,000 cars in the municipality of Chisinau and the capital city is daily crossed by about 400,000 cars.
