Senor state officials offer congratulations to Romania

Prime Minister Ion Chicu sent a congratulatory message to his Romanian counterpart Ludovic Orban on the occasion of the National Day of Romania. “Apart from the wishes of prosperity, we come with thanks for the brotherly support from which we have benefited in time, especially this year that has been marked by a number of crises,” says the Premier’s message that is quoted by IPN.

“I thank the Romanian people who are always near us and we continue to bank on the support provided to the Republic of Moldova on its path of European integration. I profit from this occasion to wish health, welfare, success and a prosperous future to all the Romanians,” stated Ion Chicu.

Congratulatory messages were also sent by incumbent President Igor Dodon to his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis. “In the festive context, I want to note with gratitude the valuable assistance provided by Romania, including within the implementation of bilateral sector projects with important benefits for the Republic of Moldova. We remain optimistic about the prospects of developing and extending the special Moldovan-Romanian relations based on the common language, culture and history and the mutually advantageous interest of our states,” runs Igor Dodon’s message.

“Long live, Romania! Many happy returns to all the Romanians!” President-elect Maia Sandu posted on Facebook.
