The Russian Federation will resume the regular flights to Moldova as from August 9, 2021, on the Moscow – Chisinau – Moscow route, with a frequency of three flights a week. The announcement was made by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
The state border of Russia is crossed in accordance with the conditions set by an order made by the Government of the Russian Federation on March 16, 2020, for Russians, foreigners and stateless persons.
According to a document signed by the chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, starting with September 1, will be allowed to enter the Russian Federation if they present a negative PCR COVID-19 test result taken within the previous three calendar days. The test result must be introduced in the application “Traveling without COVID-19”. When on the territory of the Russian Federation, the persons will have to do one more PCR test for COVID-19. Until its results are ready, they should stay in quarantine at the place of stay or at the place of destination. The persons who got a vaccine against COVID-19 during the past 12 months or who contracted the virus and got cured of COVID-19 during the past six months will not be obliged to take a PCR test after they enter Russia.
