Rezina man arrested for ‘selling’ driver’s licenses

A man from Rezina was arrested by officers of the Nord division of the National Anticorruption Center for asking €350 from a person for helping him pass the driving test, IPN reports.

According to the Center, the denouncer said that man told him that he has influence on persons working for the Rezina Transport Registration and Driver Qualification Division and can persuade them to favor him in the test.

The man was caught red-handed. He is now under arrest and is investigated for traffic of influence. If he is found guilty, he will serve up to seven years behind bars.
