The shopping centers in the country will not work on Saturdays and Sundasy, while the markets, except for farmers’ markets, will work only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as from February 17. This is provided in a decision adopted by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission, which also extended the state of public health emergency until April 15, IPN reports.
By the same decision, the number of participants in festive events at public eating places was reduced from 50 to 20. The presence of spectators in cinema halls is forbidden, while the nightclubs and discothèques remain closed.
The number of passengers in railway and road transport running on municipal, district and inter-district routes was reduced to 50% of the seating capacity. The business entities working in closed areas will have to make sure that the number of consumers inside meets the norm of one visitor per 4m2 of available areas without commercial equipment.
The employees of central administrative units managed by the Government will continue their activity based on a special work regime, from 7:30am until 4pm, with a 30-minute lunch break from 12 noon, with subsequent revision, depending on the epidemiological situation.
