The PSRM, as an integral part of the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists (EBCS), is ready to offer the Republic of Moldova a professional government that can bring the citizens home, offering them jobs, decent salaries and pensions, the executive secretary of the Party of Socialists Vlad Batrîncea stated in a press briefing.
IPN quoted the MP as saying that two years have passed since Moldova was freed from the regime of Plahotniuc and fear disappeared in society, the political opponents are no longer eliminated and there are no political prisoners, while the political parties feel free.
“In 2019, we showed political will, character and, together with the parties of the right, formed a majority, a government in conditions of uncertainty and blackmail,” stated Vlad Batrîncea. According to him, even if these events generate interpretations, there is no doubt that the changes were to Moldova’s benefit.
“Since 2019, we haven’t witnessed cases of appropriation of tangible and intangible assets, raider attacks, cases of abuse and intimidation of individual entrepreneurs for signing particular decisions,” noted the MP, saying all these changes are due to the 35 Socialist MPs.
Vlad Batrîncea also said that namely the Socialists stopped the illegal privatization in the national economy and did their best for the state-run enterprises to remain state property. “Even during the pandemic, we showed that we can help the citizens. Over 1 billion lei was allocated to agriculture following the drought. Over 1 billion lei was provided for infrastructure projects and each mayor’s office received at least 1 million lei for repairing roads and hundreds of millions of lei for gasification, water supply and sewerage projects and for other needs,” noted the MP.
