The Moldovan presidential administration made public the program of the visit of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Chisinau. The official will be visiting the Republic of Moldova from 29 to 30 September, at the invitation of President Maia Sandu, IPN reports.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier will be welcomed with military honors at the Presidential Place at 11:35pm on September 29. Afterward, a series of meetings will be held with President Maia Sandu and with members of the delegations. The officials will make statements for the press starting at 1:45pm. At 2:10pm, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will lay flowers at the monument to Stephan the Great and Holy.
Later, the German official will meet with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. The same day, the Federal President, together with Maia Sandu, will open a Moldovan-German business forum.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of Moldova and the Engineering College in Străşeni. He will discuss with a group of mayors of villages and towns where projects supported by the German Government were implemented. On September 30, the two Presidents will plant by a tree in the Botanical Garden in Chisinau, starting at 1:45pm.
