Searches have been carried out this morning at persons featured in the criminal case regarding the planning of public disorder, IPN reports, quoting the General Police Inspectorate.
The searches are conducted by police officers in concert with prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases.
Similar searches were performed on November 4 and 11 in Balti, Chisinau, Drochia and Ungheni and in Chisinau and Hâncești respectively. Sums totaling 380,000 and 250,000 lei were seized then. The money was allegedly ill-gotten gains that were to be used to recruit, transport and remunerate persons incited to cause public disorder.
