The national futsal team of Moldova won a 3-1 victory against the squad of Greece in the qualifying competition of the European Championship, IPN reports.
Iulian Cojocaru opened the score in the 11th minute, but the opponents tied immediately through Marios Ntatis. Constantin Burdujel widened the score in the 17th minute, while Andrei Negara set the final scoreline after the break.
“Many players of the current lineup will end their career in a year or two. It is now their chance to make history,” said the coach of the Moldovan team Vladimir Vusatyi.
On February 2, Moldova plays away Slovakia. The group also includes Azerbaijan.
