Almost the whole country is on green alert by the incidence of COVID-19. Only the municipality of Bălți and the Transnistrian region remain under yellow alert, IPN reports, with reference to the National Public Health Agency.
The localities where the incidence rate for the last seven days is under 50 cases per 100,000 people are placed on green alert. If the rate is between 50 and 99 cases per 100,000 people, a yellow alert is issued.
Moldova by April 11 got over 515,000 cases of COVID-19. The death toll from the novel coronavirus stands at 11,471.
As many as 284 patients with COVID-19 are now in the hospital. Out of these, 37 are in a very serious state and four of them were put on a ventilator.
