Marian Lupu: Ministers’ meeting will give an impetus to cooperation

“I hope the ministers’ meeting will given a powerful impetus to the cooperation in all the areas of mutual interest,” Head of Parliament and Acting President of Moldova Marian Lupu said in an interview that was published on the Romanian website on March 1. Marian Lupu approved of the determination with which the new Prime Minister of Romania Mihai Razvan Ungureanu promoted the objective of the joint meeting of the governments of Chisinau and Bucharest, which was proponed for several times, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Moldovan official stressed that daily pragmatic and efficient cooperation is needed for the benefit of the people and economies of the two countries. Therefore, the two sides should make considerable investments and make use of the accessible European funds. Romania is a special partner of Moldova and a country where many Moldovans fell at home and which ensures direct connection with Europe, said Marian Lupu, stressing he also means the perception of those who travel to and through Romania. “We speak the same language, are neighbors and the commercial relations between our countries develop dynamically. The flower bridges were the symbols of an epoch of openness. Now we should develop more programmatic approaches,” the Moldovan official said in the interview.
