Kindergarten No. 140 situated in Băcioi village of the municipality of Chisinau was outfitted with furniture, domestic appliances and sports equipment in the framework of the program of technical and financial assistance provided by the Government of Romania for preschool education institutions of the Republic of Moldova, being selected as a beneficiary in 2016, IPN reports.
Taking part in the event to present the equipment, Romania’s Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ioniță said the Government of Romania was, is and will always be near the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. “The Government of Romania supports without reservations the European course of the Republic of Moldova, which we consider is the only one that can bring stability, welfare, prosperity and a better future for absolutely all the citizens,” stated the ambassador.
Daniel Ioniță noted that the project forms part of a program that covered almost 1,000 kindergartens all over Moldova. “Education is important! The character is formed by education. People are formed by education and these have the chance to realty offer a better future to the Republic of Moldova. We want these kids to grow in proper conditions,” stated Daniel Ioniță.
According to the Embassy of Romania, of the total sum that was provided by the Government of Romania to Băcioi commune, 852,800 lei was used to fully equip kindergarten No. 140. The remaining sum of 2.147 million lei will go to build a kindergarten in Brăila village of Băcioi commune of the municipality of Chisinau. This will have three groups with 72 children.
