One more match will be played in the National Women’s Basketball Championship final to decide the winner. ASEM Chisinau drew the score at 2-2 after beating Femina Chisinau 76-59, IPN reports.
ASEM dominated the encounter, with Cristina Gontari scoring 28 points. Margarita Skitsko scored 23 points for Femina.
The decisive match was scheduled for April 12. Femina hasn’t found a hall yet to play host. “The Basketball Federation didn’t accept postponing the match and oblige us to obey the regulations and the program of the final as we are monitored by international organizations. We usually play the home matches in the hall of the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics, but on Friday it will be occupied, as the other halls in Chisinau. We intend to seek help from BC Straseni,” said Femina president Mihai Burciu.
Femina is the current basketball champion. Over the past two years it also won Moldova’s Cup.
