The crew members on all the flights operated by Air Moldova will wear protection masks and also disposable gloves if necessary. The airline said the measure is taken to protect the travellers and crew members given the increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 globally, IPN reports.
To prevent and diminish the risks of infection with the coronavirus, the efforts to clean and disinfect surfaces in planes were stepped up. The aircraft are subject to such procedures after each flight. In case of symptoms of disease, the plane passengers are advised to ask for masks from flight attendants.
The passengers who return to the country and have signs of infection are asked to immediately contact the National Public Health Agency on 080012300.
