The director of the National Disability and Work Capacity Determination Council Narcisa Mamaliga succumbed to COVID-19, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
Narcisa Mamaliga, 52, was confirmed with the novel coronavirus on July 6. On August 3, she was transferred to the National Clinical Hospital.
Since 2012 until recently, Narcisa Mamaliga worked for the Vitality Medical Expertise Council, currently the National Disability and Work Capacity Determination Council.
The Ministry also reported ten new cases of death associated with COVID-19. The death toll now stands at 810.
As many as 332 new infections with the novel coronavirus were confirmed today. The total number of cases of COVID-19 came to 25,814.
