Charles Michel: EPC Summit is the platform to coordinate everything related to energy, security and infrastructure

The leaders of European countries have gathered at the second Summit of the European Political Community to coordinate everything related to energy, security and infrastructure. This was stated by the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, on his arrival at the Mimi Castle in Bulboaca, where he was greeted by the Moldovan president Maia Sandu.

“We are trying to build multiple versions to deal with and follow all the common interests”, said Charles Michel.

The official added that he had the opportunity to meet the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan and that “today there will be a confirmation for a more balanced relationship between the two countries”.

Asked by reporters about the chances of Georgia’s EU membership, Charles Michel said that “we have to create very clear opportunities that will ensure a very good future for Georgia, in terms of social development, economic development”.

The official continued by declaring that the EPC Summit has a very broad agenda and that “it is absolutely certain” it will be a fruitful one.

Charles Michel added that the European Commission will decide on the EU enlargement agenda and that this agenda will be discussed until the end of this year.
