The organizers said that illegal facts will be related at the protest and the names of police officers who committed wrongdoings will be made known.

The Employers Association of Transport Professionals “Transportatorul” joined in the protest staged by the Employers Association of Road Transport Operators. “We consider the actions of some of the police officers fragrantly violate the national and international norms concerning the rights that are guaranteed by the legislation of the European Union. We warn that the police abuses against carriers and personnel from the field will be examined through the angle of the criminal law and the criminal police officers will be held accountable,” said representatives of the Association.

In connection with the protest, the Police warn the organizers and the participants in the protest to obey the law and to comply with the instructions of police officers. “We remind the organizers of the protest that under an order made by the Commission for Exceptional Situations, the rallies with the blocking of lanes, transport arteries and access and evacuation ways to public institutions during workdays are banned,” noted the General Police Inspectorate.
