Andrei Uncuța was appointed as director of the National Clinical Hospital “Timofei Moșneaga”. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection said he was chosen the winner of the contest to fill this post, IPN reports.
Anatol Ciubotaru, the former director of the National Clinical Hospital, was dismissed on March 24 based on a decision taken by the Commission for Exceptional Situations. By the same decision, Andrei Uncuța was named acting director.
Prime Minister Ion Chicu said then the decision to make changes in the Hospital’s management was taken with the aim of improving the institution’s capacities to cope with the epidemiological challenges.
