The legality of the actions of 13 persons is being determined in the criminal case within which searches were carried out at the heat and power company Termoelectrica on Thursday. It goes to the rigging of the public procurement procedures for signing a contract for the execution of repair works with Horus Company, IPN reports.
The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office said the 13 searches were conducted in the offices of the employees of Termoelectrica, who are suspected of abuse of office. There were seized drafts, documents, memory cards etc.
Legal action over abusive actions by members of the working group created at the company was taken on July 12. The 13 persons are investigated outside remand.
At the end of June, Horus was designated winner as a result of direct negotiations on the rehabilitation of an energy block of Termoelectrica. Horus also won the previous tender contest that was annulled after it was established that Silovye Mashiny, which is a partner company of Horus, was under international sanctions.
