The General Inspectorate for Emergencies said there were no blockages on the national roads in the morning of January 20. According to the State Road Administration, the access to Lipceni and Sircova villages of Rezina district and to Zviozdocica and Florica villages of Causeni district remained difficult. According to the electric power supplier, 62 communities in six districts and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia remained without electricity, IPN reports.

The rescuers and firefighters on January 19 helped unblock ten units of transport, including an ambulance with a patient, which got stuck in snow on local roads in the districts of Soldanesti, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Taraclia, Dubasari, Rezina, Orhei, and Cantemir. To monitor, prevent and liquidate situations of risk, 463 rescuers and firefighters intervened with 135 vehicles all over Moldova.

Update (11.22): Owing to a power outage in the customs post “Maloiaroslavets” in Ukraine, the customs post Ceadir-Lunga 1 remained closed. The other customs posts worked as usual.
