The autumn parliamentary session opens on September 4, when the MPs start work on the standing commissions to discuss the draft legal acts under examination.
Iuliana Bordeianu, head of the Parliament’s Communication Division, has told IPN that the legislative body will be convened at the suggestion of the Standing Bureau. The meeting of the Bureau hasn’t been yet arranged.
In the ordinary spring-summer session held during February 1 – July 31, Parliament adopted 198 legal acts, including 142 laws and 56 decisions. The MPs also passed 150 bills in the first reading.
