Dissatisfied with the circular issued by Minister of Education Corina Fusu, concerning the organization of activities to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Bessarabia’s union with Romania, President Igor Dodon requested the Premier to dismiss the minister, IPN reports.
In an enlarged-format meeting with the press in the evening of March 28, President Dodon wondered if Minister Fusu does not mix up the office of the Liberal Party with education institutions. He said that any action that can lead to the liquidation of statehood is unconstitutional.
“That’s why I ask the Prime Minister to initiate this dismissal. If he does not, we will know the position of Mister Filip on unionism. Does he support unionists or is afraid of Ghimpu? Ghimpu will blackmail you and will make you jump into a well. You will do it because he promised he will give you his votes for the introduction of the uninominal voting system,” stated Igor Dodon.
